Stationery Trends - The Next Big Thing?
Hello!
Something pretty exciting happened a few months ago - i was asked if i would write about my thoughts on the next big thing in stationery for the rather beautiful Stationery Trends Magazine and their Winter 2015 Trends Issue! Now giddy-jumping-around-the-house excitement aside, i was also felt incredibly privileged to be asked as the magazine really is everything i love about stationery and paper, from the beautiful designs that can be found on every single page to discovering new designers and stationery stores - this issue i came across the incredible Ferme à Papier, i highly recommend you take a browse!
Here's a snippet from the Blog Log with my thoughts on the next big thing...
If you want to read more from the magazine but can't get your hands on a printed copy, you can access their digital editions too!

Paperchase, you're just my type!
Hello!
Well we've sprung from one occasion to the other already - it's officially one month to go until the day you either count down the days to or hate with an almighty passion.
I've also decided to kickstart this whole new-year-new-organised-me thing this week by making sure i get my Valentine's Day card picked out early! I'm not a fan of the overly-romantic, mushy cards so i tend to always purchase something with a little added humour. In fact, every year i find myself spending at least an hour stood in front of the card display in Paperchase giggling away to myself at their superb romantic puns and having seen some of their new range this year, i can assure you, it's only getting better...

2015 Diaries
Hello!
So if you're anything like me, you are desperate to finally have that year where you're going to be super organised, never miss a birthday, find that perfect balance between work-life and home-life, go on all those adventures you spend hours day-dreaming about, see all those friends you wish you saw more and do this all with the help of a beautiful diary that you complete meticulously (and creatively!) and carry with you at all times...
Sound familiar?
Well this year really could be the year for us...really, it could! I think all we need is the perfect planner to keep us motivated and on track. So today i've picked out some of the favourites i've come across so far to give us that kick start...

Thank You Notes
Hello!
It's that time of year again when we start sending the blanket 'thank you' Facebook posts, thanking all those people we've ever met for a lovely Christmas and such thoughtful gifts. We feel spoilt, we feel thankful and we want to share both of these feelings with the wider world.
Now whilst i have nothing against a modern 'quickie' thank you...you can't quite beat a handwritten thank you card. The Simple Things published a blog post over the weekend giving advice on how to write the perfect thank you letter - so now you've got the composition ready to go, i've selected my top picks of the perfect thank you notes as a little extra inspiration:

Paper Crush: The Class of 2014
Happy New Year!
If i look back on my journey with Paper Crush in 2014 i'm pretty proud of how much i've been able to put into the blog in its first year. I wrote my first post in February where i told you i was a full-blown stationery addict and then spent the rest of the year sharing with you some of my favourite stationery items, shops and designers.
So today it seems fitting to look back on some of those stationery items that really made my year.
I present to you, the class of 2014....
My Pencil Day post for National Stationery Week last March saw me feature one of my favourite products of the year - these pencils from Anthropologie!
From my Hello Spring Pastels post, these Abigail Warner notelets just have the most beautiful photography!
I still adore the feathered print on this Nikki Strange notebook for my Watercolour Notebook feature
I was lucky enough to do a giveaway with Fox & Star on this rather beautiful pocket travel journal this year - i almost didn't want to send it away!
Well we had a rather lovely Summer this year and yellow really was a favourite colour crush of mine. Pencil case from Pamplemouss.
Another favourite mini trend of mine over the Summer was the jungle theme in fashion and stationery and of course Rifle Paper Co pulled it off in fabulous fashion!
I was so excited when Louise Wright agreed to be my Paper Crush in July and even more ecstatic when she offered my readers another giveaway!
I've looked at this photo at least a thousand times this year and every single time i sit in amazement. Andy Singleton, i bow down to you!
I think it's safe to say there's one lady who has had a rather successful 2014 and i wish Leona over at Lucky Dip Club another fabulous year in 2015 too!
I was so excited when the lovely people at Great.Ly let me open my own boutique (gift tags from A Sensible Habit) - it's been such a lovely experience so far and i cannot wait to see what's coming for 2015!
I got to say hello to a lot of pretty awesome people these year and i became a little obsessed with the designs over at Katie Leamon!

Another addition to my Great.Ly store this year - this Noel tape by Rosa & Clara Designs is just too cute and perfect for festive mail too!
One of my favourite posts to pull together this year was my Christmas Card Gift Guide (photo featuring Gold Lion cards) - thank you again to everyone who was involved! Look out for more features in 2015 :)
