I am the first to admit art was not my favourite subject at school. I lost count of the amount of empty wine bottles and fruit we were asked to draw - my shading skills were perhaps my particular weakness as my drawings often looked like the bottle was covered in plasters.
I do remember being slightly better at watercolour painting though due to sitting with my grandma over the school holidays. It was thinking about days with my grandma that sparked a little research to see if i could find a simple watercolour set to play with at home at the weekend, which is how i came across this absolutely beautiful watercolour rainbow card on Society6 by MickLyn... It's simplicity and colours are absolutely beautiful don't you think?
Of course, i then spent the best part of the next couple of hours browsing for great watercolour (& effect) notebooks to share with you and hopefully inspire you to add a new notebook to your collection! These were some of my favourites:
All products available on the world wide web - Feathers notebook via Nikki Strange, London Royal Guards notebook via Fox and Star, British wildflowers notebook via Victoria Snape, Blue tamago notebook via Lino Luna, Pale roses notebooks via Pineapple Bay Studio,Tropical fruits notebook via Cardboard Cities, Garden watercolour notebook via Twenty Fingers
Are you a fan of these watercolour designs? I think it'd be lovely to be as talented as these people and be able to design my own notebooks...one day!
xx

So beautiful things! I had art lessons at school too. I remember I liked them so much! I was always waiting for the next lesson. It was a good time. And now I am fond of term paper writing But I don't write as good as I want now.
